Climate change affects different human groups unequally. Lack of economic resources, poor physical conditions (e.g. poor health) or social disadvantages (e.g. poor understanding of language) increase the vulnerability of certain social groups, which in turn can widen inequalities.

This section presents a range of resources that provide adaptive responses with a particular focus on social differences.
